Sue has been a member of Alcester Town Council for over 20 years and has had the honour of being mayor three times. She is also a District Councillor, representing Alcester. Now retired, she used to be a partner in an Insurance Brokerage in Alcester.
The organisations she has been involved with in the town include the Royal British Legion, League of Friends to Alcester Hospital, Alcester Town Hall Committee and Alcester Chamber of Trade. She recently retired after three years as Chairman of the Council for Voluntary Services.
Married to Jim, a market gardener, Sue has a daughter, a son and a granddaughter who all keep her very busy.
Sue serves on the committees for Community and Recreation, and Chairs the Town Development Working Group.
