Malcolm Graham was born in Hull, Yorkshire and has lived in Alcester for over 30 years. He is married to Carol and they have one grown-up daughter.
Malcolm's full time occupation was a road safety engineer and he still works part-time in a similar role.
As well as being a member of Alcester Town Council, and in particular the Chairman of the Planning Committee, Malcolm is also a member of Alcester Civic Society, a National Trust Volunteer at Charlecote Park and was a member of Alcester Lions Club for 25 years. Malcolm joined the Town Council in 1984 and has been Mayor on two occasions, in 1989 and 1998, and says he felt it was an organisation that would enable him to put something back into the community. He also serves on the Amenities Committee.
Malcolm's hobbies are country walks, photography, steam railways and gardening.
The things Malcolm likes most about Alcester are the community spirit and the location of the town.
