Chris was born in Sutton Coldfield and has lived in Alcester since 1994, having moved from Redditch. He is married to Florence, and has two daughters and twin grandchildren.
Chris previously worked as an engineer at a large company in Birmingham, and became Town Clerk in 2007 on the retirement of Derrick Ward.
Chris is involved with St Nicholas Church, is a member of Alcester Vallet Twinning Association and is a past High Bailiff of the Court Leet. His hobbies include his two grandchildren, photography and wildlife.
Chris says what he likes most about Alcester is the community involvement, spirit and the town's character and culture.
