Jim was born in Rawtenstall, Lancashire and has lived in Alcester for 30 years. He is married to Angela and has three daughters.
Jim is still working and has his own small water treatment company.
Jim's hobbies include all sports and he is very much involved with Alcester Town Football Club, Alcester Lions and Alcester Keep Fit organisations.
Jim served as Mayor in 2005 and says he loves the community spirit in Alcester. He joined the Town Council to serve the community and try to help build better facilities and opportunities for young and old of this lovely town.
Jim serves on the committees of Community and Recreation.
