Mark was born in Alcester and has lived here all his life. He is married to Kathryn and has one daughter.
He works as a consultant engineer and his hobbies are classic cars, gardening, electronics, country sports and cooking.
Marks says having lived in here all his life he has seen Alcester evolve, seeing it embrace both new ideas and yet managing to retain many of those features that make it so special.
He joined the Town Council in May 2011 and says he is very pleased to be part of the team that is entrusted with the custodianship of Alcester's future, and hopes to being a balance between introducing new ideas and retaining the traditions that we all, and increasingly others, admire.
Mark is the Deputy Mayor, Vice Chairman of the Planning Committee and also serves on the Recreation & Open Spaces Committee.
