Julie was born in Evesham and has lived in Alcester for 45 years. She previously lived in Headless Cross, Redditch.
Julie works as a project manager and is involved in the Alcester Junior Drama group, which takes up quite a lot of her time. Her hobbies include reading, sewing, cooking, writing and dog-walking.
The great community spirit is what Julie likes best about Alcester. She joined the Town Council in May 2011 and says she wanted to give something back to the place she grew up in, to help it stay a great place to live.
Julie currently serves on the Planning Committee and the Community Committee.
