Alison was born in Bletchley, Buckinghamshire but spent her childhood in Nottingham. She is married to Steven and has a stepdaughter and two other children. She moved to Alcester in 2005.
Before having children Alison worked in sales and marketing. She has spent a lot of time living abroad and was treasurer and fundraiser for the British Women's Group and British High Commission Playgroup in Nigeria. She currently supports her husband's company with part-time marketing assistance.
Having been brought up in a soulless suburb in a big city Alison likes Alcester because of the friendly community spirit and all the activities in the town.
Alison joined the Town Council in May 2011 and says she wants to be a part of preserving the traditions of the town and to serve the local community.
Alison currently serves on the Community Committee and the Recreation & Open Spaces Committee.
