Councillor Jim Kenyon

I was born in Rawtenstall, Lancashire but have lived in Alcester for 30 years. I am married to Angela and have three daughters. I’m still working and have my own small water treatment company.

I am very much involved with Alcester Town Football Club, Alcester Lions and Alcester Keep Fit organisations, being a keen sportsman.

I have been a Councillor for many years and served as Mayor in 1995 and 2005, having joined the Town Council to serve the community and try to help build better facilities and opportunities for young and old of this lovely town. I love the community spirit in Alcester.

Currently I am a member of the Strategic Planning Committee and I have also been elected Chairman of the Community facilities Committee. I have lots of projects in hand with this Committee to improve the recreation facilities for the town.
