The Fred Parrott Award is given annually by Stratford on Avon District Council to a councillor that has done outstanding service to their council and community. Bill Malin was nominated by Councillor Sue Adams and won the award from 11 nominations this year.
Bill has served as Past Chairman and Mayor on the Town Council, and served the community as High Bailiff twice, Town Crier, Chairman of the British Legion Alcester branch, and many more offices he has held on committees in the town.
The Fred Parrott Award is made up of the badges of office that were held by Councillor Fred Parrott and the award is given in his memory.
