Vacancy for Assistant Town Clerk

The Town Council are looking to appoint an Assistant Town Clerk.

This is a part time role of 10-15 hours a week based at Globe House. The role attracts a salary of £18,070 per annum pro rata (£9.392 per hour)

The Assistant Town Clerk will be responsible for the Planning Committee of the Town Council including support for the Neighbourhood Plan team.  They will also be responsible for managing communications for the Council including the website and social media.

Previous experience of work as a Clerk to a Parish or Town Council is desirable but not essential as full training is available.
