Yet another Deputy Mayors blog this week although the Mayor is now back from his holiday and just in time too, the Town Council are very busy at the moment preparing our case for appeal against the proposed development on the land north of Allimore lane. We are working hard to ensure that we retain the character and infrastructure of our town.
On a lighter note I attended the Cheese and Pickle festival at Coughton Court, which was a wonderful event as my first Mayoral duty. It was lovely to see so many exhibitors displaying their wares and to see some traditional crafts being demonstrated. I learnt how to make a rag rug and also did some embroidery, as well as plenty of tasting!
Next week back to normal with Mark’s blogs.
