I was born in Birmingham and have lived in Alcester for the past 23 years, enjoying the strong sense of community spirit and many events held throughout the year. I joined the Council in 2011 to make a contribution to my adoptive town and help it continue to be a delightful place to live. I am married to Paul and have one daughter Annie. I have had a varied career, within the IT arena and have also been self-employed, I am currently semi retired.

One of my initial responsibilities was Chair of the Communications Committee, where the council website was updated and social media introduced, including Facebook and Twitter. I have been the Town council quarterly newsletter editor for the last seven year’s, which is now well established and has been integrated into the new office infrastructure.

I am a member of the Planning Committee, Facilities Committee and Greig Hall Working Group.

I also chair the Jubilee Centre Management Group and with a small group of fellow councillors and volunteers run the monthly Community Cinema.

In 2017, I was proud to represent the residents of Alcester across the district as their elected Mayor raising £2500 for my nominated charities; Stratford Cancer and Eye Hospital and the Lily Mae Foundation.
