There will be a Beacon Lighting ceremony on Centenary Field on the evening of Thursday 2 June between 6 pm and 10 pm.
There will be a Street Party in the High Street on Sunday 5 June between 1 pm and 4 pm.
The Street Party will involve temporary road closures in High Street, Church Street, Henley Street and Meeting Lane from 10am- 7pm.

Saturday 4 June
- Alcester Baptist Church- Slide presentation and photographic exhibition- The way in which Alcester has celebrated royal coronations, Jubilees and weddings over the years since Queen Victoria in 1838 through to our Queen’s Diamond Jubilee in 2012. It will be a rolling presentation running repeatedly from 10am- 4pm. There will also be a display of posters and photographs. Tea and coffee will be served throughout the day. Pop in for half an hour or stay to watch the whole slideshow whichever suits you the best, but do come along – it is fascinating seeing the older photographs and maybe you will spot yourself on one of the later celebration slides! Do bring your friends and neighbours too, all are welcome.
- St Nicholas Church- A Festival of Flowers for her Majesty– Teas on the Green 2-4pm. Coronation film show in church. (The festival is running from 3- 5 June).
She was joined for this special occasion by students from St Nicholas Primary School, Our Lady’s, Alcester Academy and Alcester Grammar and representatives from Alcester Youth Project and the Depot Youth Club.
