Councillor David Henderson
Born in Glasgow, I spent the first 23 years of my life in Scotland. To date, the rest of my life has been spent south of the border having worked in multiple locations throughout the country. I have lived with my wife Lesley and family in Alcester for the past 19 years. Alcester is by far the best place we have lived. A small but vibrant community who made us all very welcome. During my time in the town I have been involved in many activities and with several organisations who all strive to make Alcester just a perfect place to live. I am currently involved with Alcester Lions, Alcester Food Festival and the Court Leet. Further afield, I am involved with the Special Olympics Great Britain City of Birmingham squad where I have coached and currently I am a member of their operating committee. My wife and I have no plans other than to continue having a wonderful time in our town.
